|  BENELUX Trip
Well, another camping trip to Switzerland planned and another camping trip to Switzerland cancelled due to weather. But, instead of staying home, we headed to Belgium for the long weekend. We stayed at a Holiday Inn in Hasselt, Belgium about 70km outside of Brussels and took a train trip into Brussels for one day, up to Amsterdam in The Netherlands another day and drove through the Ardennes to Luxembourg on our last day. The kids did well and it was a great way of discovery the BENELUX (BElgium, the NEtherlands and LUXembourg). The weather wasn't great, in fact it rained most of the time we were in Amsterdam, but we still had a lot of fun and the kids got to add three more countries to their resumes...that puts them up to 13.
